Surgery - Now CLOSED

Hovingham was very fortunate to have its own GP Surgery, part of the larger Ampleforth Surgery.  This surgery closed in June 2026 and all services are now provided from Ampleforth and neighbouring surgeries.

Appointments can be booked using their online bookings system or by phone (01439)-788215 or the NHS App.

Please note that if you are a patient of the Ampleforth Surgery that you may be are entitled to use transport to and from the surgery and hospital appointments free of charge as part of DWP benefits.
