Amotherby Young Farmers Club

Amotherby Young Farmers are part of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs. We meet most Monday nights usually at 7:30pm. Our club rooms are located at Hovingham Village Hall. As part of a varied and exciting programme we also visit locations both locally and further afield. Our members are a variety of ages and not all from farming backgrounds. We welcome people age 10-26.

Royal British Legion

Locally, we support commemorations on Remembrance Day and other special occasions, arranging talks and remembering the sacrifice of those who have died or been damaged in our service. Nationally, the RBL supports our Armed Forces personnel and their family with an expanding range of services - to meet ever-increasing needs. Our small branch would very much welcome new members - including those who may not have served.

Ampleforth & District Catenians

Ampleforth & District Circle of The Catenians offers a marvellous opportunity for Catholic Men and their families to meet kindred spirits in our area, in other circles across Yorkshire and across the world. Our circle meets at the Worsley Arms on the first Tuesday of each month to enjoy each other's company and thereby strengthen their family life and faith through friendship. Meetings include prayers and a supper with frequent Ladies’ nights and talks. The atmosphere is very informal: we welcome visitors and anyone interested in learning more about us.
